Mark L. Madrid Scholarship
A University of Notre Dame Project
Contribute today to a great cause--the Mark L. Madrid Scholarship being awarded to a deserving student at UND or UT-Austin!
Mark Madrid, a 2013 ALPFA/HSF Scholar and recipient of the 2012 University of Notre Dame Masters in Nonprofit Administration fellowship, is "paying it forward" with a NEW SCHOLARSHIP opportunity to a deserving undergraduate and/or graduate student from University of Notre Dame and/or UT-Austin. Named Houston’s Modern Hispanic Gentleman, Mark is grateful to Ketel One, Texas Monthly, and ALPFA for providing the means and the campaign to establish the Mark L. Madrid Scholarship. ALPFA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is positioned to build Latino business leadership and to inspire Latinos to secure a seat “at the table.” With the Mark L. Madrid Scholarship, Mark relishes the privilege to assist another with the ultimate equalizer, an education. The creed of his Master’s program at Notre Dame is “Servant Heart. Business Mind.” This newly-created scholarship, a servant heart gesture, will fuel another’s business mind. "Truly, I am a lucky man to be in this position, and I thank Ketel One and Texas Monthly for contributing toward a dream realized."Who is involved?
