What is the outcome of the project?
Help Osbourn Park's AP Government HS students raise $1K to help meet their goal of 650 pairs of shoes. All proceeds go to Title I Schools!
Raising $1,000 that will help "Kicks for Kids" reach their goal of collecting and donating 650 pairs of shoes for local Title I schools in Yorkshire and West Gate, VA.
Who is involved?High School Students from Osbourn Park's AP Government Classes, led by teacher Christina Ross.
When will the project happen?May 21 through May 30, 2012.
Where will the project happen?Osbourn Park High School in Manassas, VA.
Why does this project matter?As a low income area, high school students in the Yorkshire and West Gate don't have appropriate footwear.
How will the funds be used?To purchase shoes that will help towards Kicks for Kids' goal of 652 pairs of shoes.
